Discdog Bed & Breakfast - Learn to play Disc with Your Dog!

Pawsitive Vybe has started a new training program, the Discdog 'Bed & Breakfast'.

The Discdog 'Bed & Breakfast' is a live-in weekend (2-3 days - weekdays possible) training experience with Ron Watson & Apryl Lea of Pawsitive Vybe.

Apryl & Ron are known worldwide for their discdog instruction. For the past several years, Ron & Apryl have been running successful seminars in North America and Western & Eastern Europe.

Now that Pawsitive Vybe HQ is located on 18+ acres, Apryl & Ron are ready to bring people to their home for training.

The Discdog 'Bed & Breakfast' can accomodate up to 4 couples comfortably, but can handle more if people don't mind living a bit more communally.

Flow, Leilani, Kiva, Juicy, Harpyr, Hamma, Tyce and I will be performing at Celebration City in Branson, MO from the 15th of May through Mid-August.

Partnering up with the venerable Lou Mack and then later in the season with the young phenom, Preston Dean, the P-Vybe Pack and I will be doing two 20 minute shows daily, 6 days a week.

i'm really excited about this opportunity, and the dogs are going to LOVE it!

A Different take on Obedience

Canine interaction helps dog and handler become a team. We use reward and repitition to create default behaviors that we then use to get Obedience.

Interaction I

Our classes take place in Scenic Downtown Rockford, on the White Pine Trail, and at the Dam in real life situations. This gives dog and handler the confidence and competence to, not only function in a distracted environment, but to teach and learn in the presence of distractions.

We don't go after obedience directly, we believe that a better path to obedience is through Canine Interaction. With a few simple concepts in mind, we create situations to help our dogs make good decisions. We believe that helping our dogs make good decisions provides a better education than making their decisions for them.

It's fun! It's simple, but it's not easy.

The foundation of our training has to do with the concept of attention, because the first thing you need in order to work with your dog is their attention. Once we have their attention, anything's possible. Well show you how to capture their attention and how to hold it.
